Investments that speak AUD
Why mixed-currency portfolios were quietly wrong, and how Bickie fixes it.
If you hold both Aussie and US shares, every portfolio tracker I've used has quietly lied to you at least once: it adds the US-dollar value of your American holdings straight onto the Aussie-dollar value of your local ones, as if a greenback and an Aussie dollar were the same thing. They're not — and the gap is usually 30–50%.
What changed
Every holding now carries its listing currency. We read it from the exchange you pick (ASX is in AUD, NYSE in USD), and confirm it from the live price feed. Behind the scenes we keep fresh exchange rates and convert each holding into your base currency before adding anything up. Your totals are finally true.
And a proper page for each holding
While we were in there, we gave every holding its own page — your position in both its native currency and yours, the key stats, its weight in your portfolio, and an interactive price chart with the ranges and crosshair you'd expect from a real trading app.
It's all live now. Open Investments and click a holding to take a look.
